The Institute of Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies
Registered Yoga Alliance School 200, 300, 500 & RPYT
Yoga Education • Prenatal • Ayurveda Yoga Specialist • Professional Yoga Therapist Training
Any and all sessions or modules are open to the public, however we encourage participants to have at least a 200 hour certificate so a foundation of understanding is in place prior to any module. Any module taken can be applied to continuing education with Yoga Alliance.
The Great Yoga Wall Level 1 training is included in the Spine Module, May 30-June 3, 2018.
This program is open to those with a 200 hour certificate while it is a part of our professional yoga therapist program. It is considered advanced teacher training. All participants can count the hours towards continuing education and register those hours with Yoga Alliance. However, for certification purposes, one must be admitted as an IIYS teacher in our 300 hour advanced or the KC Yoga Therapy program to receive credit.
Program topics vary per module.
This program is recognized by Yoga Alliance as a part of our advanced curriculum and NAMA by Kathryn Templeton through the Himalayan Institute. It is the only ayurvedic training program that requires a 200-hour yoga certification from an approved yoga school to receive Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Certification, ensuring our graduates understand a deeper knowledge of yoga. All dedicated yoga students and teachers are invited to take this training, and a letter of completion will be provided for those who do not wish to pursue a yoga teacher certification. There is a $50 materials fee outside of tuition.
Only those enrolled in the Advanced Studies and the professional KC Yoga Therapy program are eligible to access this link after successful completion of the module. This link is available through June 24, 2018, 10:00PM CST. Registered teachers will be emailed access codes for the exam. To begin the exam, click here.
This will be available July 30, 2018.
This exam will be available September 2018.
